1. Scope
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to D-DAO subscriptions, usage-based services, reserved capacity, and related purchases unless a signed MSA, Order Form, or other agreement states different terms.
2. Subscription cancellation
You may cancel a subscription at any time through the available account controls or by contacting the channel stated in your Order Form. Unless your Order Form states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues through that period subject to the Terms of Service.
3. Non-refundable fees
Fees already paid are non-refundable and credits are not provided for partial billing periods, unused capacity, or unused Services, except where applicable law requires otherwise or D-DAO agrees in writing. Setup, professional services, committed-use, and reserved-capacity fees are non-cancellable and non-refundable once incurred unless the applicable Order Form expressly states otherwise.
4. Usage and overage charges
Cancellation does not eliminate usage, overage, bandwidth, storage, support, tax, or other charges incurred before cancellation becomes effective. Usage-based charges may be invoiced after cancellation when final metering is complete.
5. Billing disputes
You must notify us of a billing dispute within 30 days after the applicable invoice or charge date and provide enough detail for us to investigate. Undisputed amounts remain payable. D-DAO’s metering records control unless a clear error is demonstrated.
6. Service credits and discretionary refunds
Any service credits are governed exclusively by an applicable SLA or signed agreement. D-DAO may, in its discretion, issue a refund or account credit in exceptional circumstances. Doing so once does not create an obligation to do so again.
7. Payment reversals
A chargeback, payment reversal, or failed payment does not automatically cancel a subscription or eliminate properly incurred obligations. We may suspend Services while payment issues are resolved.
