1. Purpose and scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all use of D-DAO Services and forms part of the Terms of Service. You are responsible for your users, workloads, data, models, prompts, applications, and outputs.
2. Illegal, harmful, or abusive activity
- Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, exploitative, or harmful conduct.
- Create, obtain, distribute, or facilitate child sexual abuse material or any sexual exploitation of minors.
- Threaten or facilitate violence, terrorism, human trafficking, or other serious physical harm.
- Violate intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights.
- Process highly sensitive personal information without appropriate authority, safeguards, and legal basis.
3. Security and platform abuse
- Probe, scan, penetrate, disrupt, overload, or attack systems without express written authorization.
- Distribute malware, ransomware, destructive code, phishing, spam, or credential-harvesting material.
- Bypass authentication, security controls, usage limits, rate limits, quotas, metering, or billing mechanisms.
- Access accounts, data, models, networks, or systems without authorization.
- Conduct destructive stress testing or benchmarking that materially affects others without prior written approval.
4. Accounts, resale, and cryptocurrency
- Share, transfer, or resell accounts or Services except as expressly authorized by D-DAO.
- Misrepresent identity, affiliation, authorization, workload, or intended use.
- Use the Services for cryptocurrency mining unless D-DAO expressly authorizes it in writing.
5. AI systems and high-risk uses
You must apply appropriate human oversight, testing, monitoring, and safeguards to AI systems. You may not use the Services to make fully automated high-risk decisions affecting life, physical safety, legal rights, employment, housing, credit, insurance, healthcare, education access, or critical infrastructure without legally required review, transparency, validation, and human control.
You are responsible for assessing model and output accuracy, bias, provenance, intellectual-property risk, and fitness for your intended use.
6. Trade compliance
You may not use the Services in violation of export-control, sanctions, import, or other trade laws, including through prohibited locations, restricted parties, controlled end uses, or unauthorized transfer of controlled technology.
7. Permitted workloads
Subject to this AUP and your agreement, normal AI model training, fine-tuning, inference, software development, research, analytics, and enterprise applications are permitted. Permission to use the Services does not grant rights in third-party data, content, models, or software.
8. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and remove content, restrict workloads, or suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the Services, users, third parties, or legal compliance. We generally provide notice and an opportunity to cure a remediable non-urgent issue, but may act immediately for emergencies, fraud, security threats, or clearly unlawful conduct.
9. Reporting
Report suspected abuse or security issues to legal@d-dao.ai. Do not include unnecessary sensitive data in a report.
